A fakir is a Sufi Muslim , Derived from faqr (فقر Arabic), Lit: poverty, plural fuqara. In Sufi terminology a faqir is one who recognizes his complete and total dependence upon Allah, the sufi muslim never sees anything but ALLAH in it, before it , after it. There is only ALLAH is the eyes of the sufi as there is only ALLAH within the heart of the sufi.
